Apple has unveiled the iPhone 16 models, Watch Series 10, and other devices. According to the presentation available on the company’s website, sales of all new products will begin this fall.
Bavnews.am followed one of the year’s most significant tech events and presents the showcased devices along with the pricing for the iPhone 16 lineup.
Apple Introduces iPhone 16 Lineup, Watch Series 10, and More
Apple opened its annual event with the unveiling of the new-generation Apple Watch Series 10, which features a larger display and a thinner body. The screen is slightly larger than that of the Watch Ultra and is now 40% brighter.
The Series 10 will be available in three colors – silver, pink, and glossy black. A titanium case version will also be released, along with matching titanium wristbands in silver, gold, and black.
The new S10 chip powers the smartwatch, and while it still offers up to 18 hours of battery life, charging is now much faster – just 30 minutes for a full charge. The starting price is $400.
Meanwhile, Apple updated the second-generation Watch Ultra, now offering a new black color. All other specs remain unchanged. The Watch Ultra will retail for $800.

AirPods 4 and AirPods Max: What’s New
Apple also unveiled a special version of AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation. The earbuds have been redesigned for better fit, offer up to 30 hours of playback with the charging case, and are water-resistant. The case now features a USB-C port and a built-in speaker, making it easier to locate the device.

Apple also showcased new AirPods Max headphones, now available in five new colors and featuring USB-C charging. Price: $550.
The AirPods Pro weren’t updated in hardware, but Apple introduced new firmware for the second-gen model. These now offer hearing protection against loud noise and can function like a hearing aid.

iPhone 16: Subtle Design Tweaks, Big Power Boost
The new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus maintain the same design as their predecessors but introduce new functionality:
- The mute switch has been replaced with an Action Button
- A new camera control button is located on the opposite side of the frame
Display sizes:
- iPhone 16: 6.1-inch
- iPhone 16 Plus: 6.7-inch
- Brightness: up to 2000 nits
- Refresh rate: still 60Hz

Powered by the Apple A18 chip, built using 3nm technology, the device is 30% more powerful and 35% more energy-efficient than the previous generation.
The main camera offers 48MP, supporting 2x zoom, while the ultra-wide lens remains 12MP but now includes autofocus.
Special attention was given to the new camera control button, which can launch the camera app, capture photos, and quickly toggle settings.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max: Bigger, Smarter, Faster
The Pro models feature the largest screens ever in iPhones:
- iPhone 16 Pro: 6.3-inch
- iPhone 16 Pro Max: 6.9-inch
Both models are equipped with the Apple A18 Pro chip, focusing heavily on AI performance. According to Apple, it’s twice as fast as the A17 Pro, with the Apple Intelligence neural engine performing 15% faster.

Camera setup includes:
- Main and ultra-wide lenses: 48MP
- Telephoto lens with 5x zoom: 12MP
- New camera control button added to the edge
The body is made of titanium and available in black, silver, beige, and gold.

Storage Upgrades for Power Users
Premium models will be available with up to 2TB of internal storage, with configurations including 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Apple is moving away from 128GB as the baseline, adapting to modern demands.
Availability
All announced iPhone 16 models will be available for pre-order starting on announcement day, with official sales beginning September 20.
