A delicious recipe for making glace coffee
Bavnews.am presents one of the most delicious ways to prepare glacé coffee. The birthplace of glacé coffee is France.
The word glace coffee translates to “icy” or “frozen.” Some versions of the drink combine the contrast of hot coffee with cold ice cream.
For the best result, it’s recommended to use classic vanilla ice cream without any added flavors.
Ingredients for Glace Coffee:
- 1 cup of freshly brewed coffee (can be substituted with milk if preferred)
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup (or 2 tsp of sugar as an alternative)
- 100 grams of ice cream
- 2 tablespoons of whipped cream
- Ice cubes

Preparation Method:
Brew the black coffee and let it cool. Place scoops of ice cream into a glass and add the chocolate syrup. Pour in the coffee and top with whipped cream.
For milk coffee lovers: heat the coffee on high for 20 seconds to bring out the aroma, then add the milk, bring to a near boil, and remove from heat before it overflows.
As optional toppings, you may use grated chocolate, candy crumbs, or cocoa powder.
